MQANDULI (SOUTH AFRICA) / MADRID (SP) The children of the elementary class of the school " Madrid Montessori " organized a play at their school for the benefit of the children of the school " Ikhaya Labantwana Montessori " in South Africa.
KATHMANDU (NEP) / VALENCE (FR) The children of the elementary class of the Montessori school "A petits pas" in Valence have made pastries and offered breakfast to school parents, to help the "Child Haven" school for orphans in Nepal. The money was meant to help with the purchase of heaters, but will be used to rebuild the school building after the earthquake. PHNOM PENH (CAM)/MOUANS SARTOUX (FR) Children in upper elementary and middle school from the Montessori school "Les Pouces Verts" have organized a successful restaurant evening at their school. They all participated : advertising, reservations, tables planning, shopping ... Then the D Day, they became cooks, waiters, singers, sound engineers, all this to the benefit of the Montessori school "Seametrey Children's Village" in Cambodia.
Lang'ata-Kenya / Castelnau le Lez Children in Elementary class in Castelnau le Lez (Montpellier/France) have decided to multiply actions to help children in the women's prison in Lang'ata/Kenya, who live in the prison with their mothers, and are taken care of during the day by trained Montessori teachers. Their first need is clothing.
VERSAILLES (FR) / KATHMANDU (NEPAL) The children from the elementary class of the "Ecole Bilingue Montessori de Versailles" have organized a play after which they have shown a slide-show and explained the situation of the Montessori school for orphans in Nepal to the public. At the end they have exchanged biscuit bags they have made themselves against donations. They have raised around 1000 euros ! Bravo !
PARIS (FR)/AKUMAL (MEX) The children from the elementary class of the bilingual school of Paris have organized a bake sale. Parents have been very generous and all have been able to help the school in the Mayan community of Otoch Paal in Mexico.
GRENOBLE (FR) / PHNOM PENH (CAM) The children of the International Montessori school of Grenoble have given all the money they owned from a sale to the children of Seametrey's children village in Cambodia.
AKUMAL (MEX) / SAN FRANCISCO (USA) The children of Marin Montessori school near San Francisco gave all the benefits from the concert they organized to the children of Otoch Paal, a school in a Maya community.
RENNES (FR) / BUENOS AIRES (ARG) The "Montessori School of Rennes" gave all the benefits from its "rice bowl operation" to the "Casa del niño" school from Argentina in a slum on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.
