My name is Sandrine. I am a primary and elementary AMI Montessori teacher. After teaching for seven years in a Montessori school in Paris, I decided to head off around the world with a camera in hand, to see different Montessori schools. Backpacking from large cities to rural schools to slums, this is an account of what I discovered along the way...
SUPPORT AND EXCHANGE NETWORK
Facing very quickly the difficulties that some of these schools meet,
and being myself a Montessori teacher, on top of the question
"How do they do elsewhere?" quickly arose the question
"How can we help?"
This help, beyond practical advices that I can bring during my visit,
turned into the creation of a network between schools in order to provide
more lasting support, while allowing an enriching exchange between children
from very different backgrounds .
VOLUNTEERS AND TRAVELING TRAINEES' CORNER
For those who want to go help on the ground, a volunteer's corner is here to process, connecting would-be teachers and trainees with schools and detailing their needs.
For those who would like to help the association :
