This school is located a few minutes walk away from the Buddhist shrine in Kathmandu named Bodhanat, and has opened recently.

An energetic team, dedicated and competent.
Two of the teachers are Montessori trained, but due to the lack of a Montessori training center in Nepal offering an authentic and complete training, they are unsure of how to apply the method and must alternate between group presentations and work with more conventional textbooks.
However, it is a long way and they are very demanding of a trained volunteer to help them become a true Montessori school.
Faced with the strong demand of help from the whole team, and given the little time I have on site, we struggle to make as much as possible.
A reminder of the main principles of Montessori, practical advices on a possible arrangement of the classroom and most importantly, linking with Suva, the AMI trained teacher from the Child Haven Green Tara school who agrees to come and help on a regular basis, has given them confidence in the future of the school.
