TIBETAN CHILDREN'S VILLAGE
- Leh, Ladakh (Himalayas)
- Children from de 3 to 18 years old.
- Four 3 to 6 years-old environments.
- All the teachers are Montessori trained and have about thirty years of experience.
Particularities:
It is a school in a "Children's village" where live and study Tibetan refugees.
Children do not learn English until the third year of kindergardern. Their choice is to preserve tibetan as their main language.
NEEDS:
T.C.V (Tibetan Children's Village) exists only thanks to exterior help.
- Funds to support the T.C.V in terms of equipment, books, toys...
- Exchanges with Montessori teachers to compare adjust and perfect their practice (Tibetan humility :))
- Montessori trained volunteers, but ONLY if they speak tibetan!
- Four Montessori school-partners to exchange and create together (KidsRfuture will take care of the translation from Tibetan to French or English)
